As a fledgling vampire Kain stole the Chaos Armour from Vorador's Mansion during the events of Blood Omen. There appears to be demonic faces, teeth and claws embedded at several joints in the armor, though it may just be for decoration. When wearing the Chaos Armour any enemy that attacks Kain receives the same amount of damage that they inflict. It was quite easy for enemies to kill themselves when attacking Kain with this armor. Like most of his armor, Kain stopped wearing it at some point after the events of Blood Omen; it is unknown what happened to it.
