Cathedral is a ubiquitous musical track which first appeared in Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver, composed by Kurt Harland. The piece is considered to be theme of the Silenced Cathedral.
In the game, it is played throughout the whole Silenced Cathedral area. It was included on the Soul Reaver 2 Promotional Soundtrack, as well as the game disc. This track was remixed and reused in Legacy of Kain: Defiance.

Cathedral music plays as soon as Raziel emerges at eastern canyon. Before Raziel enters the Reaver door, an outdoor version of the track plays in this area. After Raziel plunges inside the Cathedral´s walls, an indoor version plays instead.
